About Solarize Allegheny

Solarize Allegheny is a project funded by the Heinz Endowments and managed by non-profit SmartPower – to double the amount of solar energy throughout Allegheny County. Active in four communities, we’re providing residents and businesses with an easy way to go solar. You can get the most competitive pricing from pre-screened, qualified local installers, have access to no-money down financing options that are right for you, receive impartial assistance from our Solar Advisor, Solar Panelsand take advantage of the 30% federal tax credit before it expires. Simply click on the button below to register online and request bids from local installers. You can expect about two qualified solar installers to bid on your project. Solarize Allegheny is available for only a limited time.
